THIS quarantine has everyone working out and eating healthy but let today be an exception: It’s International No Diet Day!

What better way to celebrate the occasion than to treat oneself to sinful, culinary pleasures? Here’s what health-conscious individuals love indulging themselves with.

“I have been a vegetarian for quite some time now but believe it or not, I still have my fair share of guilty pleasures. From celebrating my wins to crying over inconveniences, ice cream has always been my best friend. It was one of the hardest things I had to let go off when I decided to pursue a healthy lifestyl. But thanks to the creative minds behind dairy-free or plant-based ice cream, I was able to rekindle my romance with this cold dessert. As they say, dessert doesn’t go to your stomach but goes straight to your heart. That is how I am with ice cream. We deserve to indulge ourselves in our little pleasures sometimes because we simply deserve it.”

“My fave guilty-pleasure food is ice cream because it never fails to lighten up my mood plus, it is perfect for any season.”

— Joanna Son

“A serving of instant spicy Korean noodles is my favorite guilty pleasure! I totally can’t resist the MSG that comes with it. I’m a fan of spicy food and this just perfectly suits my taste, especially when I get intense cravings. I admit, I feel guilty the next day so I make sure that I eat healthier food and just keep it balanced. I don’t ever want to feel deprived of the food I want to eat as long as I don’t go overboard. I always make sure that it’s lifestyle eating and not just a diet.”

“My favorite guilty-pleasure food is chicharon! I’ve been into a keto/low-carb lifestyle for a year now and I also do intermittent fasting. But whenever I want to break my fast, I always grab some chicharon to satisfy my cravings.”

— Charisse Crisosto

“My favorite guilty pleasure food has always been grilled pork or sinugbang baboy, especially when it’s cooked perfectly. You can tell that it’s cooked well when it’s so tender, tasty and juicy! Whenever it’s served on the table, I can’t help but add extra rice over and over again!”
