Mandaue logs 2 new Covid-19 cases

MANDAUE City on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, logged two new cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), according to the Mandaue City Public Information Office.

This brought the total number of cases in the city to 92.

The patients are a 9-year-old male and a 37-year-old female. The two are residents of Sitio Gumanela in Barangay Opao.

The patients are connected with Patient 17, who is currently admitted to the University of Cebu Medical Center in Mandaue City.

Authorites have already cordoned the house of the two patients. Members of the household were also advised to follow strict home quarantine protocols. (NET/JGS)
