Capitol delivers 300,000 food packs to Bulacakenos

MALOLOS CITY -- Some 300,000 food packs have been delivered to families in Bulacan by the Provincial Government of Bulacan.

According to the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office or PSWDO, about 275,475 food packs have already been distributed to various towns in Bulacan since May 3.

An additional 3,170 food packs have been given in barangays Muzon and Pabahay in San Jose del Monte last May 4 and 40,799 relief goods were distributed in Pandi.

The PSWDO added that Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program beneficiaries and indigenous peoples like the Dumagats, jeepney operators and driver’s associations and the Muslim community and hospital patients received food packs.

Some 2,845 cavans of rice were also given to 569 barangays here.

For his part, Governor Daniel Fernando thanked all donors and concerned sectors for the donations. (PIA-Central Luzon)
