TODAY’S hectic lifestyle—with or without gizmos and gadgets—whether at work or elsewhere, can deplete and deflate our energy levels leaving us totally stressed-out and drained!

Locals are even willing to throw a fortune to achieve tranquility and solitude just to renew, revive and re-energize their lost natural resources.

Look, there’s no need to bask in the spas of Indonesia or Malaysia, there’s one right next door!

Just a mere 45-minute drive and 32 kilometers away from the city center is the 4.5 hectare EVO Nature Camp located along the picturesque Gaas, Balamban countryside. Let your hungry lungs absorb the freshest air this side of heaven!

Sleepaway camps, parks, nature-centered recreational facilities and more are to your picking at Cebu’s newest adventure-based nature camp.

We recall EVO’s owner Edwin Ortiz saying: “We came up with this idea not only to promote Gaas, but also to put on the map this nature destination. And last but not least, provide employment for the locals.”

Earlier this year in January, EVO had the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by owner Edwin Ortiz and family, Balamban Mayor Alex Binghay, Rep. Pablo John Garcia and Gaas Barangay Captain William Genel. Also lending their academic presence were High School students from the University of San Jose-Recoletos, Balamban campus.

Soon check out this developing camp now offering trekking, rapelling, camping and glamping (glamorous camping). Try its Grill House for barbecue, grilled specialties etc. Pretty soon, there will be huge tents for overnight stays, bedding and snacks to match etc. Enjoy around 40,000 florals and 2,509 pine trees. The forest scents are enough to start your stress-free journey to a lifestyle of health and wellness! Ah!
