FASHION designer Mikhail Achas introduces a bridal collection inspired by the intimate relationship a person has with his clothes.
The bridal collection is comprised of pieces in separates so they can be mixed and matched. These come in designs for intimate moments, including a blush salmon robe with a satin dress that has become a popular wedding garment, together with voluminous numbers making up the collection.
“The theme of the collection is intimacy in different shapes and volumes,” he said.
“I started the collection thinking about the intimate relationship that we have with our clothes. We wear clothes beyond the purpose of covering ourselves. Now I realized that it’s not just limited to that. The relationship goes beyond it.”
Concealed beneath layers of fabric, Achas wanted to share that clothes—which come either in modest or extravagant forms—are more than just garments one wears. It’s a lifestyle that most fashion enthusiasts can understand, from wearing it to taking great lengths caring for it.
In addition, it can also serve as a source of inspiration as he added how it also affects the relationship between the wearer and other people.
Achas is known for his bridal looks with feminine touches, specifically in terms of color and materials, and usually favors different kinds of tulle and lace which are paired with other materials.
Mikhail Achas accepts inquiries online through his Facebook and Instagram pages.
“Our shop, The Joint Craft and Meeting House, will be open as soon as the Enhanced Community Quarantine will be over. We are preparing preventive measures and safety guidelines to make our shop safe for our team and our customers,” he said.
