NCRPO 'most wanted' person nabbed in Southern Leyte

THE most wanted person in the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) was nabbed in Sogod, Southern Leyte Saturday, May 16.

The accused, Prelan Arciento Grama, 38, a resident of Binatayan, Cawit, Cavite but temporarily residing in Sogod town, was arrested around 7 p.m. Saturday in Barangay Zone-5, Sogod.

Grama was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest dated October 27, 2016, for carnapping, robbery, and murder.

Alma Crispina Collado-Lacorte, presiding judge of the National Capital Judicial Region-Regional Trial Court Branch 21 in Manila, issued the warrant of arrest and recommended a bail bond of P180,000 for carnapping, P100,000 for robbery and no bail bond for murder.

The operation units include Sogod Municipal Police Station led by Major Aljohn Teddy Llanes, chief of police, together Regional Special Operations Group-NCRPO led by Major Lymel John Pasquin, and F2, Regional Mobile Force Battalion-NCRPO led by Major Merben Bryan Lago with the participation of Regional Intelligence Unit-NCRPO.

The accused was brought to Sogod Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the court of origin. (SunStar Philippines)
