GOVERNOR Dennis Pineda thanked the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Central Luzon, and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on their raid of an illegal makeshift hospital inside Fontana Leisure Parks for Chinese corona virus patients.
According to a 24 Oras report by John Consulta on Tuesday, a former leisure village was converted into an illegal pharmacy and seven-bed makeshift hospital for Chinese nationals with Covid-19.
The makeshift hospital was operating without the necessary permits from the Department of Health and Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases.
It was not yet clear how the facility was able to operate. Clark officials have ordered the closure and full lockdown of Fontana Leisure Park inside the Clark Freeport following the raid.
Pineda also ordered the search for other alleged facilities inside Clark Freeport.
Pineda also called the attention of the Chinese embassy to instruct their people to seek medical help with the proper hospitals in the province.
