Cops’ civic program help 111 families in Mabalacat City

THE Mabalacat City police had extended assistance to some 111 families under its Adopt A Family program during the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).

Lieutenant Colonel Eduardo Guevara Jr, city police chief, said the local police was able to implement the project with the help of the private sector.

“As of now po mayroon na tayong 111 na pamilyang natulungan, hanngang ngayong po kung kaya nating i-sustain yon ginagawa po naming paraan at marami po tayong mga kababayan na tumutulong at willing pa ring tumulong sa kanila,” the police chief said.

Guevara, who personally leads the distribution of relief goods to the beneficiaries, said it is important to share love and care to the people in this time of pandemic and health crisis.

Rektang Bayanihan is a project of Brigadier General Rhodel Sermonia, Central Luzon police director, according to Guevara.
