Mabalaqueños warned versus bogus SAP group



THE Mabalacat City Government has warned its residents of a bogus group reportedly making online registration for the purported second tranche of the social amelioration program (SAP).

The group allegedly collects P50 fee from people who want join the online record, the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and the Gender and Development (GAD) stated.

“Babala: Mayroon pong grupo na nagbabahay-bahay para magpa-online registration daw para sa second tranche ng social amelioration program ng DSWD at nagpapabayad pa ng P50 para kayo ay sumali,” the two city offices told the people in the warning it issued in the official Mabalacat City News Covid-19 Updates Facebook page.

Online registration is not applicable in the DSWD SAP in Central Luzon including Mabalacat City, the local government offices added.

“Uulitin po namin, hindi pa po applicable ang online registration sa SAP ng DSWD sa atin sa Central Luzon kasama ang Mabalacat City. Huwag po tayong maniwala sa mga ito at maloko,” they said.

The local government still awaits official notice of the DSWD regarding to the second release of the Covid-19 cash assistance and the residents who will be included in the lists.

“Naghihintay pa din po kame ng official notice ng DSWD para sa release ng second tranche at kung sino ang makakatanggap nito,” the CSWDO and GAD added.

Mayor Cris Garbo warned his constituents not to entertain “fake news” and observe quarantine protocols to prevent the spread of the virus in the city.
