THE female officers, enlisted personnel and civilian employees of the Western Mindanao Command (Westmincom) received supplements donated by the Armed Forces of the Philippines Officers’ Ladies Club, Inc. (AFPOLCI).
Lieutenant General Cirilito Sobejana, commander of Westmincom, said the supplements consisted of nine boxes of Ferrous Sulfate+Folic Acid aimed to boost the immune system of the beneficiaries amid the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) crisis.
Sobejana said the donation of the supplements is timely as “the welfare of our personnel is our primordial concern” amid the Covid-19 crisis.
“These supplements would help boost the immune system of our female personnel, especially during this time when the entire humanity is at risk of being infected with the deadly corona virus,” he said.
“We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the AFPOLCI for this gesture of support,” he added. (SunStar Zamboanga)
