“Ako’y natutuwa na napakaganda ng coordination ng LGU. Napakaganda ng coordination ng private sector at saka ang leadership katulad ng leadership na ginawa ni (Secretary) Mike Dino na he was able to mobilize the private sector,” matod ni Galvez.
Si Galvez nibisita sa Sugbo niadtong Sabado, Mayo 23, inubanan ni NTF Covid-19 deputy chief implementer Secretary Vince Dizon kinsa nagkanayon nga gipadala sila ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte ug ni Senator Bong Go aron pagsuta sa sitwasyon sa nagkasaka nga kaso sa Sugbo.
Gibutyag usab ni Dizon nga aduna silay target nga pasakaan pa ang testing capacity sa Sugbo ngadto sa 10,000 matag adlaw sa umaabot nga duha ka buwan.
“The key to really preventing another wave of this virus and also the key to slowly rebuilding the economy is to build up our testing capacity for PCR tests. That is the key,” si Galvez nagkanayon.
Matod ni Dizon, ilahang pasakaan ang kapasidad sa Cebu TB Reference Laboratory Molecular Facility for Covid-19 Testing (CTRL-MFCT) sa Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Sub-National Laboratory.
Ang duha ka laboratories mapun-an kini og automated extraction machine diin mapun-an ang kapasidad niini sa 2,000 ka tests matag adlaw.
Dugang ni Dizon nga laing duha ka mga molecular laboratories ang iugmad pa sa Sugbo.
Usa ka 2,000-capacity laboratory ang ibutang sa Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIAA) ug laing 2,000-capacity modular laboratory, nga gi-donate sa Unilab, sa Cebu Doctors Hospital.

“(The second wave would happen) If we lower our guard; if we upon travel, tourism and we are not prepared for it. We are now preparing the protocol to prevent the occurrence of the second wave,” matod ni Dizon.
