POLICE and anti-drug operatives arrested on Sunday, May 24, a barangay tanod for alleged illegal drugs in Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
The suspect was identified as Ricky Ogaya, 30, a resident of Guiuan town.
Operatives from Guiuan Municipal Police Station, Eastern Samar Provincial Police-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Eastern Visayas arrested Ogaya at 1:55 p.m. Sunday in Barangay Cogon, Guiuan.
Confiscated from the suspect's actual possession and control were one heat sealed plastic sachet containing shabu, as subject of sale, two pieces P500 bill with serial numbers NA598276 and RP083149 used as buy-bust money, cash amounting to P150, and one mobile phone.
Ogaya will be facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (SunStar Philippines)
