THE Cebu City Health Department (CHD) has recorded more laboratory-negative or recoveries than new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on May 25, 2020.
The CHD recorded 56 new laboratory-negative, while there were only 27 new Covid-19 cases.
The 56 new laboratory-negative came from Barangays Labangon (29); Sitio Negative, Carreta (23); Lahug (two); Inayawan (one); and Luz (one).
This brought the total number of those who have recovered from Covid-19 in the city to 174.
Meanwhile, the 27 new Covid-19 positive patients came from Barangays Duljo (seven); Pahina San Nicolas (one); Mambaling (four); Trinidad, Punta Princesa (one); Basak San Nicolas (one); Camputhaw (two); Labangon (one); Sambag 2 (three); Mirasol St., Capitol (one); Rivaridge, Tisa (one); Suba (one); Lorega (one); Tejero (one); San Antonio (one); and Sawang Calero (one).
Cebu City now has a total of 1,896 Covid-19 cases, with 23 mortalities. (JJL)
