4 new drug personalities nabbed in Zamboanga

FOUR newly-identified drug personalities were arrested while some P72,000 worth of illegal drugs seized in separate law enforcement operations in Zamboanga City, the police said Tuesday, May 26.

Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspects as follows: Mudzna Abduhamid, 44; Zunnuh Almidzri Dacumus, 44; Norsan Hairal, 46; and Alfasser Salim, 18.

Galvez said Abduhamid and Dacumus were arrested in an anti-illegal drugs operation around 7:50 p.m. Monday in Governor Ramos Avenue in Santa Maria village, Zamboanga City.

She added seized from the two were some P60,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, a coin purse, and P200 marked money.

Hairal and Salim were arrested around 11:20 p.m. Monday in Arena Blanco village.

Galvez said the two suspects yielded some P12,000 worth of suspected shabu and P200.

The four suspects were detained pending the filing of appropriate charges against them. (SunStar Zamboanga)
