Since May 11, Benguet had not recorded any Covid-19 case.

With the last Covid-19 patients sent home, Governor Melchor Diclas asked stakeholders to remain vigilant and observe all public health standards.

On Monday, Department of Health–Cordillera (DOH–CAR) recorded two new recoveries from Benguet Province and in Ifugao.

There are 46 recorded Covid positive cases in the Cordillera region while the provinces of Apayao, Kalinga and Mt. Province remain Covid-19 free.

Doctor Amelita Pangilinan, DOH–CAR director, meanwhile appealed for cooperation, understanding and patience of the stakeholders in these trying times.
