THIRD District Representative Aurelio Gonzales Jr. donated some 200 sacks of rice to the City Government of San Fernando for its ongoing relief operations for those affected by the quarantine efforts against the spread of coronavirus.
The donation was handed through Gonzales's aide, Engr. Randy de Jesus, and was received by the City Government of San Fernando through Mayor Edwin Santiago.
De Jesus said the donation was made possible through the personal funds of Gonzales.
He added that Gonzales had also distributed rice donations to other town's of his district over and above the previous rice donations to various frontliners.
Santiago welcomed the donation and said Gonzales had been active in supporting city initiatives against the coronavirus.
"Ang mga donasyon ay malaking tulong para sa pamilyang Fernandinos na patuloy na humaharap sa krisis na dulot ng Covid-19 at ngayong nasa ilalim pa rin ng modified enhanced community quarantine ang buong lalawigan," Santiago said.
