HOW do you mark seven decades in your timeline?
Our good friend, Terry Escaño—once upon a time statuesque, willowy debutante, then metamorphosed into regal bride of Jess Manguerra—have jointly produced seven pretty and handsome offspring through the years! Widowed for more than 20 years, our Mom has now transformed into glamorous grandma, and marked her natal day at the Casino Español de Cebu.
Of her seven children (five boys and two girls), two were dearly missed: Andy, married to Tina Pongos, and their two kids, are Canada-based, while another son, Marty was busy at work.
What a closely-knit and heartwarming gathering that was, at the Casino’s Japanese room! Also part of the intimate celebration were relatives Cecilia M. Brainard, California-based sis-in-law of Terry, and cousin Chona Berna.
Incidentally, if you’re wondering, these photos were taken pre-lockdown, hence no social-distancing yet! Hopefully, June will dawn a better health month!
