4 Magalang patients test negative for coronavirus

FOUR probable coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patients in the agricultural town of Magalang have tested negative for the coronavirus, the local government said.

The municipal government, under the leadership of Mayor Romy Pecson, relayed the good news to the residents on Wednesday, Maybe 27.

Aside from this, the Municipal Health Office reported no new cases over the past few days.

“Masayang ibinabalita ng Magalang LGU sa pamumuno ni Mayor Pecson na negatibo ang resulta ng Covid 19 RT-PCR test ng apat na probable individuals sa Barangay San Isidro at Barangay San Vicente. Isang linggo ng walang bagong kaso ng Covid 19 sa ating bayan,” the local government stated.

At present, the town has 70 persons under monitoring or suspected Covid 19 patients under quarantine and monitoring by the Municipal Health Office and different Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) in the town.

‘Sa kasalukuyan, mayroon tayong 70 PUM na naka-quarantine at mino-monitor ng MHO at BHERT at isang suspect case na hinihintay ang RT-PCR test result,” the municipal government stated.

The local government advised the Magalang people to observe the Minimum Health Standards like the regular washing of hands, wearing of face mask, at social distancing to prevent the spread of Covid 19 in the municipality.

As of May 27, 2020, the MHO recorded three confirmed cases of Covid 19 with one patient death and two recovered.
