Naga deploys 4 mini buses to carry residents within city

THE City Government of Naga, Cebu has started deploying four mini buses to help its constituents who wanted to travel within the city on Thursday, May 28, 2020.

The mini buses will be transporting passengers living within the city, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

According to the City Government’s post on its official Facebook page, the mini buses’ pickup point is in Naga’s Poblacion.

The fare is set at P30 for the Barangay Poblacion-Barangay Uling route, while the fare for the Poblacion-Barangay Lagtang and Poblacion-Barangay Inayagan routes is set at P20.

The city government was permitted by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) 7 to secure the services of the mini buses.

Before the bus services started carrying passengers, City of Naga Administrator Arthur Villamor had advised the drivers and conductors to implement strict health protocol inside their vehicles by ensuring that physical distancing will be observed by the passengers.

He also urged drivers and conductors to strictly check the passengers for their home quaratine passes, company-issued identification cards and employment certificates and wearing their masks before they are allowed to enter the buses, said Villamor. (JKV)
