CEBU’S tourism industry has been pummeled by the coronavirus, with several establishments making the difficult decisions of closing their doors and letting go of employees.

At the same time, there are a number of people who are seeking a secure place to live while we are still on quarantine, and may be unable to find the necessary assistance for housekeeping, laundry, driving for errands, and more.

Instead of ceasing operations and losing hundreds of valued staff members, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa has partly converted to assisted luxury living with its “Call Us Home” program. Residents will enjoy peace and quiet in an iconic five-star resort with courteous, well-trained staff. Safe distancing will not be an issue with spacious rooms and several hectares of well-kept grounds with beautiful lagoon and garden views. The resort maintains high sanitation practices and preventive measures against communicable diseases. Emergency assistance is available 24 hours, two hospitals are a 15-minute drive away, and a private nurse or therapist can be arranged.

Residents won’t be bored at all with a variety of food and recreation. Four restaurants each serve different types of cuisine and there are scheduled activities daily. Long-staying guests will have safe, luxurious and enjoyable living arrangements at a special rate that Plantation Bay does not offer otherwise.

A maximum of 100 residents are invited to call Plantation Bay home. To inquire and apply to the program, please contact the resort and look for front office manager, Milai Legaspi.
