CEBU City Mayor Edgardo Labella announced 166 new laboratory-negative individuals on Saturday, May 30, 2020.
Of the 166 new recoveries, 149 were from Barangay Mambaling, five from Barangay Guadalupe, and 12 from Barangay Tejero.
Cebu City now has a total of 958 laboratory-negative persons or 43.5 percent recovery rate.
Labella said 34 coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patients staying at the Barangay Tejero Isolation Center are also subject for release Saturday.
The Department of Health (DOH) earlier identified eight barangays in Cebu City that should stay under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).

In a press briefing on May 29, Barangays Carreta, Sawang Calero, Bacayan, Mambaling, Labangon, Tejero, Luz and Suba were tagged as red areas. DOH has recommend that they remain under ECQ status. (JJL)
