THE photos on Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio’s official Instagram account have been removed. She may have deleted or archived all of her Instagram posts. There is also a possibility that someone may have gotten into her account and deleted her posts.

The city mayor usually uses this platform for her statements and photos on both work and personal matters.

Some of her notable comments posted on Instagram were her latest remark on ABS-CBN News’ report on his father’s (President Rodrigo Duterte) trip to Davao City amidst the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic; and the use of the 1960s classic Manila as the entrance song for Team Philippines in the Southeast Asian Games’ opening ceremonies, saying it’s non-inclusive to all Filipinos.

It can be recalled that Duterte-Carpio has been using the photo-sharing app after her Facebook account was locked due to multiple hacking attempts in early 2019.

Duterte-Carpio has yet to issue an official statement on this.
