Covid-19 cases in Central Luzon now at 574

THE total number of coronavirus infections in Central Luzon have reached 574 as of May 29, the Department of Health (DOH) reported.

Of the 574 patients, 119 are still admitted, 121 have been discharged to undergo home quarantine and 206 have recovered.

The health department said 62 people have died from the virus in the whole region.

Bulacan has the highest number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Central Luzon, with 181 positive cases and 30 deaths.

Bataan recorded 147 positive Covid-19 cases, 92 recoveries, and 7 deaths.

Pampanga, on the other hand, has 100 positive cases, 11 deaths, and 35 recoveries.

The Pampanga information office logged more than 60 recoveries as of May 29 which does not tally with the DOH data.

Nueva Ecija has 54 positive cases while Tarlac has 36 and Zambales, 37.

Aurora province remains free from coronavirus as of Saturday.
