Public told: Keep exit passes for future reference

CAGAYAN de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo) spokesperson Major Ivan Viñas said Monday, June 1, that residents of the city will no longer need to present their exit passes when going out of their respective barangays now that the city is under modified general community quarantine.

However, the public is advised to keep their barangay exit passes for "future reference."

"Katong exit pass, i-set aside na nato kay tinood sa among memorandum, wala na gi-require ang atong mga kaigsoonan. Di nato walaon kay mahimo atong reference in the future," Viñas said.

He added that the residents will only need to present their identification cards (IDs) and follow the routine checks conducted by the checkpoint personnel.

"Kay dili lamang Covid-19 ang atong ipatuman nga mga guidelines and protocols karon gyud among ga-hugtan ang among seguridad para sa atong mga hostile enemy plan," Viñas said.

Meanwhile, Mayor Oscar Moreno said night markets are still not allowed to operate and curfew hours will still be enforced.

"Naa pa gyapon ang curfew pati ang pag enforce sa ordinansa nga walay inom sa dalan. Di pa gyud panahon para makompyansa," Moreno said.
