Angeles village chief calls for heroism amid pandemic

A BARANGAY chairman in Angeles City has called for heroism amid the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.

Few days before the celebration of Philippine independence on June 12, Balibago Chairman Rodelio Mamac Sr. has underscored heroism and unity in order to win the battle against the worldwide health crisis.

The barangay chairman said that Philippine flags are placed in streets and in front of the barangay hall as a symbol of the Filipino people's pride and freedom.

The gesture also includes the honoring of recognition of great citizens and heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country's future generations, according to the village official.
