Nagkanayon si SMC president ug chief operating officer Ramon S. Ang nga ang tanan nilang mga magduduwa sa PBA nahilakip sa 70,000 nila ka mga empleyado sa tibuok nasod.
“We are happy to report that all of our basketball players tested negative from the virus,” matod ni Ang sa interbyu sa www.pba.ph.
Ang SMC nakadesisyon nga magtaod og PCR-testing facility ug laboratory sa mismong hawanan sa ilang mga edipisyo lukop nasod aron dili na makahasol sa health facilities nga gitukod sa gobiyerno alang sa Covid-19 tests.
Kining maong lakang sa SMC nagsilbeng ilahang pagpangandam sa nagkaduol na nga pagbalik sa mga aksyon sa PBA.
“We defer to the government’s wisdom and decision on when team-based leagues like the PBA will return especially if people’s lives are at stake. While we all miss the PBA, we need to first create a safe environment to limit the spread of the virus,” batbat ni Ang.

“Our players and employees have nothing to be worried about as we have assured that they will continue to receive their salaries and health benefits. And we have constantly reminded our players as well as other employees to strictly follow health protocols during this time,” dugang ni Ang.
Ang SMC estriktong nagpatuman og safety measures sa ilang mga buhatan sama sa physical distancing, pagsul-ob pg protective equipment, kanunay nga paghugas sa kamot, ug temperature checks.
Sa laing bahin, maghugpong karong adlawa ang PBA Board of Governors aron paghan-ay og mga lagda alang sa pagbalik og training sa tanang teams alang sa ilang tinguhang ibalik na ang mga duwa sa 45th season nga naundang niadtong Marso, 2020.
Nagkanayon si Commissioner Willie Marcial nga ang mahan-ay nilang mga lagda kinahanglan pang maaprubahan sa gobiyerno.
“All these we’ll do with the approval from the government. Hindi kami gagalaw without their approval,” pagtino ni Marcial.
Tinguha sa PBA nga masalbar ang 45th season bisan usa na lang ka conference nga plano nilang ipahigayon karong Oktubre, 2020.
