Pitogo town number 2 most wanted person nabbed

LAWMEN have arrested in a law enforcement operation one of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Wednesday, June 3.

Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspect as Aguilardo Minoza, 36, a resident of Liguac village, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur.

Galvez said Minoza was nabbed when lawmen served a warrant for his arrest around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, in Purok Paragayo, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo.

Galvez said Minoza has been listed as the number 2 most wanted person in the municipality of Pitogo.

She said the suspect has a standing warrant of arrest for murder that was issued on December 11, 2013 by the court of San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur.

Minoza has another standing warrant of arrest for attempted murder with recommended P120,000 bail. It was also issued by the court of San Miguel on July 28, 2016. (SunStar Zamboanga)
