1 new Covid-19 case, 1 more recovery in Mandaue

ONE new confirmed case of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) and one new recovery have been reported in Mandaue City Saturday, June 6, 2020.

The Mandaue City Public Information Office said the new patient, tagged as MC307, is a 47-year-old male from Sitio Kalubihan, Barangay Tabok, Mandaue City. He is now admitted at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

The Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office personnel have decontaminated the residence of the patient and started their contact tracing.

Meanwhile, one new recovery was reported in Mandaue City.

Patient MC238 from Barangay Casuntingan has recovered from Covid-19.

The repeat swab of another patient, MC04, meanwhile, still tested positive for the coronavirus, which means that he has not yet recovered from the disease.

As of Saturday, Mandaue has 307 total confirmed Covid-19 cases, with 41 recoveries and seven deaths. (KFD)
