SEARCH and rescue operations are ongoing in Southern Leyte as four fishermen have not returned home since Tuesday, June 9.
The four fishermen were identified as Nestor Lopez, 55, pump boat owner; Dino Angcoy, 39; Danny Manto, 49, pump boat operator; and Ernesto Lucero, 60.
All are residents of Silago town in Southern Leyte.
Police said the fishermen, on board pump boat named “Lucero-Hinampas Family,” left Barangay Tubaon, Silago around 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, for fishing and have not returned since then.
