THE Department of Health (DOH)-Eastern Visayas reported on Wednesday, June 10, four additional cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19), bringing the total confirmed Covid-19 cases to 76.
“Eastern Visayas Regional Covid-19 Testing Center released a total of 224 results. Of which, 220 are negative and four are positive,” said Dr. Minerva Molon, director of DOH-Eastern Visayas.
Two patients are from Ormoc City, while the other two are from La Paz and Matalom, all in Leyte.
Tagged as Patient EV-73 is a 38-year-old male from Ormoc who is a locally stranded individual (LSI) from Cebu City and who arrived last May 30, 2020.
EV-74 is a 37-year-old male from Ormoc, an LSI who arrived last May 30, 2020 from Cebu City.
The patient from La Paz town, identified as EV-75, is a 48-year-old male and an overseas Filipino worker from Saudi who arrived last May 28, 2020.
EV-76 from Matalom is a 28-year-old female, an LSI from Cebu who arrived on June 7, 2020.
Meanwhile, DOH-Eastern Visayas said the Divine Word Hospital Virology Laboratory in Tacloban City also released a total of 54 sample results which are all negative. (SunStar Philippines)
