CG upholds quality management system to attain ISO re-certification

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Corporate Guarantee (CG) achieved on May 9, 2020 another momentous feat, as SGS Philippines formally announced that the non-life insurance company is once again, ISO 9001:2015 certified.

CG (formerly Corporate guarantee and Insurance Company or CGIC) is the first insurance firm in the country to be recommended by SGS Philippines for transition to the new ISO version. Corporate Guarantee passed anew its IS0 recertification concluded last March 9 and 10, 2020.

The ISO Certification is about high international standards on Quality Management Systems and Processes.

The re-certification audit was conducted to determine CG's conformity with ISO 9001:2015 Audit Criteria and its ability to ensure that applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are met. This means that Corporate Guarantee exercises nothing less than the highest standards of system and process management to ensure that customers' concerns are adequately addressed, and that the best customer satisfaction possible is attained.

The exercise was also conducted to validate the company's operational effectiveness, as well as to identify areas for potential improvement, as applicable.

SGS Philippines lauded the non-life insurance firm for its exceptional performance in all aspects of its operations and for raising the standards of competency and professionalism.

Founded in 1997, CG belongs to the top non-life insurance companies in the Philippines. It is the only one in Luzon headquartered outside Metro Manila and one of only six non-life insurance companies in the country that are ISO-certified; a highly valued, highly-desired stature in modern-day business, especially in a closely regulated and highly competitive and robust industry as insurance.

Corporate Guarantee is a member of the LausGroup, considered as the biggest multi-brand automotive dealership network in the country today.

Today, CG is serving its current customers and growing its clientelle through several branches in Metro Manila, Central and Northern Luzon, the same geographic territory that has been strategically mapped out for expansion by the Laus Group of Companies. (JTD with CDG/LGC-MSCCD)
