AS THE City Government of Davao eases coronavirus disease (Covid-19)-related restrictions starting mid of May 2020, homegrown developer Santos Land Development Corporation (SLDC) also resumed its operations to deliver pre-Covid-19 commitments made to clients.

SLDC sales and marketing manager Estela Aguilos in a phone interview with SunStar Davao said they have reopened its main office since May 18 but has strictly followed the set guidelines by the National Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) like physical distancing, heath screening on employees, and skeleton workforce, among others.

“Even when we are allowed to operate, we still need to be extra careful about the safety of our employees and clients,” Aguilos said.

Moving forward

Aguilos emphasized that their workforce is working double-time as they continue to push for the selling of Ivory Residences Condominium and Ilumina Estates II.

“We’re glad because since we resumed on May 18, we already had 15 reservations, one of them already paid full downpayment,” she shared.

She added of the 260 units available in Ilumina Estates II, only 31 are left for grabs.

Ilumina Estates II is a mid-cost to high-end development that offers peaceful and luxurious subdivision living. The project is situated in a 25-hectare area in Communal, Buhangin, Davao City.

Meanwhile, The Ivory Residences, as described, is an 18-story tower with 330 units of various sizes and is capable of housing approximately 120 parking units spread out over three floors. It was launched in 2017.

Aguilos also explained that they have yet to assess as to the delay in the construction of these projects.

“Once all our workers are on board and the needed construction materials will arrive, that’s when we can reassess our projects’ timelines,” she said.

She also underscored that they are currently pushing for their online and social media presence so clients can easily do transactions on the web.

At present, the developer has improved its website which can be accessed here: https://santosland.com.ph.
