Utzurrum: Breathlessly beautiful: Keukenhof (Conclusion)

The Scene

DEAR readers, I hope you enjoyed peeking through the stunning Tulip Gardens of Keukenhof, the Netherlands. Last week, we featured top Dutch landscape photographer Albert Dros, and some of his treasured works in an article he labeled, “Keukenhof: The most beautiful tulip garden in the world.”

Each year—and only in spring—the gardens are opened and tourists by the millions totally gaze in sheer admiration at the magnificence of it all.

Incidentally, for the first time in 71 years, the gardens were closed due to the worldwide pandemic. And with no crowds, Dros, in his own words, “captured the magic” with no obstruction. “Only the sounds of birds, and incredible floral scents.”

So, absorb, meditate if you must, on this combination of artistry, harmony and tranquility. By the way, these were taken last April 2020. So enjoy these photos with captions from our guest photographer himself.

Thank you, Albert Dros,

for this slice of floral paradise!
