ANG New People's Army nagbutyag nga nakapatay sila og unom ka mga sundalo sa usa ka engkwentro didto sa Baganga, Davao Oriental niadtong Dominggo sa buntag.
Sa usa ka pamahayag, si Antonio Nerio Antao sa NPA Command Front 15 nagkanayon nga niadtong Marso 28, mga alas 2:00 sa buntag, ang tropa sa Philippine Army, 67th Infantry Battalion sikretong misulod sa ilang kampo sa lungsod sa Baganga.
Paglabay sa lima ug tunga ka oras, mga alas 7:30 sa buntag, daghang mga sakop sa NPA ang misulong sa usa ka platoon sa 67th IB nga nagpahuway sa Sitio Pagbabayan, Barangay Mahan-ob. Niabot og mga usa ka oras ang opensiba sa mga NPA.
"Six enemy troops were killed in action while three were wounded. The NPA sustained no casualties. The Red Army recovered an M-16 Armalite rifle," matud ni NPA command spokesman Dyomabuk Kadyawan.
Pahayag sa NPA nga ang panghitabo, usa ka sagpa alang sa ilang mga kaaway nga mideklara pinaagi ni Capt. Isnani Mai nga 'NPA-free' na ang Baganga, Davao Oriental.

We must continue to uphold our fighting spirit and support our people's army.
