MABALACAT CITY -- The city government lauded the efforts of a Clark firm in donating personal protective equipment (PPEs) to the city’s frontliners.
City Administrator Emmanuel Ignacio said the 350 PPEs by Kamiseta donated by Texas Instruments (TI) is a great help for the safety of the frontliners, whose everyday routine is to safeguard people from the spread of Covid-19.
“Malaking tulong po ito para sa kaligtasan ng ating mga frontliners. Muli ay nagpapasalamat po ang city government lalong-lalo na ang ating butihing [Mayor Crisostomo Garbo] sa lahat ng naitulong ng TI sa ating siyudad,” Ignacio said.
Earlier, TI Clark also donated 7,500 kilos of rice; 3,000 pieces of surgical masks; 1,500 pairs of disposable medical gloves; 300 pieces of N95 masks; 300 pieces of safety goggles; and 270 pieces of face shields to the city.
TI has always been committed to building stronger communities in the city since the majority of their employees are residing here.
TI produces analog and embedded semiconductor chips, which are used by customers to develop virtually every type of electronic system and enable critical technology, including life-saving medical equipment needed to fight Covid-19, and other infrastructures.
