GIANGKON ni Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings coach Tim Cone nga dili siya makaseguro kon mobalik pa ba ang higanteng si Greg Slaughter gikan sa Amerika sa higayon nga mahibalik na ang askyon sa Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Matod ni Cone nga gisuwayan nila pagkontak ang 7-footer nga produkto sa University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers apan wala kini mitubag.
Si Slaughter mianunsyo niadtong Pebrero,2020 nga mopahuway una kini sa pagduwa sa PBA human napupos ang iyang kontrata sa Ginebra.
“We tried to contact him a couple of times, he hasn’t responded. So we don’t know if he’s going to come back, but we know just like everybody else he’s working out,” matod ni Cone sa interbyu sa Spin.ph.
“The last we heard, he’s going to make a tryout with the NBA G League. I don’t know if that’s true, I heard that from a third party. But there’s no G League this year. G League will probably start maybe April next year.”
Kon dili mobalik si Slaughter, matod ni Cone nga maahat siya pagpangita og laing magduduwa nga makahulip sa iyang puwesto sa ilawom.
“It’s gonna be tough because he can be a force at times and it’s just really tough having something ripped away from you like that without having being given anything in return,” matod ni Cone.
“But we’ll find ways to replace him, maybe a little more Japeth (Aguilar), maybe a little bit more Stanley (Pringle), maybe Prince Caperal steps up, we have other options.”
