61 recoveries, 88 new Covid-19 cases in Cebu City

CEBU City logged 88 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19), 61 new laboratory-negative, and 18 deaths on July 3, 2020.

The city has also breached the 200-mark for the number of mortalities, with 211 deaths reported Friday, July 3.

The new fatalities were from Barangays Bacayan, Calamba, Capitol Site, Duljo, Inayawan, Kasambagan, Mambaling, San Nicolas Proper, Sapangdaku, Sta. Cruz, T. Padilla, and Tejero with one death each, while Barangays Luz, Guadalupe, and Sambag II had two deaths each.

The new cases logged are from Barangays Apas (6), Basak San Nicolas (2), Binaliw (1), Luz (2), Bulacao (1), Busay (1), Calamba (1), Camputhaw (2), Capitol Site (2), Day-as (4), Duljo (1), Ermita (1), Guadalupe (8), Hipodromo (1), Inayawan (8), Kalunasan (2), Kasambagan (2), Kinasang-an (2), Labangon (8), Lahug (2), Mabolo (5), Pahina Central (2), Pardo (5), Punta Princesa (1), Quiot (1), Sambag I (3), San Nicolas Proper (7), Sapangdaku (1), T. Padilla (3), Talamban (1), Tisa (1) and one with unverified address.

The new laboratory-negative or recoveries recorded are from Barangays Apas (13), Basak Pardo (4), Day-as (1), Guadalupe (7), Inayawan (2), Labangon (1), Mambaling (2), Sambag II (1), San Nicolas Proper (1), Suba (1), Tisa (3), and the bulk are from Tisa with 25.

Cebu City now has 5,824 Covid-19 patients and 3,046 laboratory-negative or recoveries.

Active cases in the city are 2,567.

The CHD extracted four entries from the total number of cases after it was found out that entries were logged twice. (JJL)
