Hundreds nabbed for violating quarantine

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The personnel under Pampanga 2nd Police Mobile Force Company (PMFC) reported that their week-long law enforcement operations for the period of June 26 to July 2 have yielded 181 apprehended individuals despite the on-going modified general community quarantine.

Most of the arrested individuals violated quarantine regulations, particularly on the Provincial Ordinance No. 756, which requires the mandatory wearing of facemask as well as community gambling.

PMFC chief John Clark said a total of 181 apprehended individuals include 57 people in Mabalacat City for not wearing face masks.

Face mask rule violators were also arrested in Arayat (55), Santa Ana (10), Magalang (26), Mexico (13) and San Luis (11).

Three individuals were also arrested for illegal gambling while six individuals in the province’s most wanted list were also apprehended.

All apprehended individuals were turned over to the respective municipal and city police stations for proper disposition.
