THE KDO Central Gym harvested a total of five gold medals, four silvers and 10 bronzes to rule the Mayor Rody and Vice Mayor Inday Sara Araw ng Dabaw Arnis Tournament at the SM City Davao recently.
The Golden Knights of Tagum City placed second with four golds while A.L. Navarro National High School came third with a 2-32 medal count.
Placing fourth was Armed Forces of the Philippines Learning Center (AFPLC) (2-1-1) and finishing fifth was KDO (2-1-0).
Finishing behind were Aflec (1-0-0) and Pablo National High School (1-0-0), GL Dondoy (0-4-4), KDO Pablo Lorenzo National High School (0-2-2), Crossing Bayabas National High School (0-1-5), Barangay Crossing Bayabas (0-1-0), A. Loyola and Panabo Central Elementary School.
Junior boys flyweight Angelito Gumba Jr. of PLNHS, pinweight Bryan Cambangay and extra lightweight Jumar Baynosa of KDO, bantamweight Kurt Belly Marcellones of ALNHS, featherweight Lemuel Louis Ramos of KDO Central Gym, junior gilrs flyweight Jennileyn Morcillo, pinweight Jenefer Tutor, bamtamweight Anafe Sagne, featherweight Mary Jehan Allen and extra lightweigh Maria Charity Rejaba were among the gold medalists.
