Another purok in City of San Fernando village under ECQ

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- A portion of another barangay in this city was put under lockdown after it recorded its second case of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

The local government ordered the implementation of a 48-hour localized enhanced community quarantine starting Wednesday noon, July 8, 2020, in Purok 1 of Barangay Malino, which is considered as a critical zone.

The Purok 2 of the said barangay, being the containment zone, was also put under general community quarantine during the same period.

Under the said lockdown, curfew hours starting at 8 p.m. for Purok 1 and 9 p.m. for Purok 2 until 5 a.m. will be strictly implemented.

Portions of Barangay Malino are the second area in the city to underwent localized lockdown after that in Barangay Panipuan.

As of Tuesday evening, the city has seven active Covid-19 cases: three from Barangay Panipuan, two in Malino and one each from San Jose and Sto. Niño.
