Council asks barangays in Angeles City to provide free internet for students

ANGELES CITY -- The Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) has unanimously approved a resolution requesting all barangays in the city to allow all students to access free internet for academic purposes.

Councilor Arnoah Prince DG. Mandani, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) president, principal sponsor of Resolution No. 9047, S-2020 ( PR-627-06-20), said that the resolution will be a great help to students in their online education.

" Kami po sa City Council, headed by our Vice Mayor Vicky Vega Cabigting ay gumawa po kami ng resolusyon requesting all barangays in Angeles City to allow all students to access free internet for academic purposes.

He said that free internet access in barangay halls will help students to download their modules while SK chairmen will provide printing services to students.

He said that students can be assured that the City Government of Angeles is doing everything it can to address the challenges facing students in this time of crisis.

(Chris Navarro)
