2 Chinese nationals nabbed, P6.8-M shabu seized in Bulacan drug sting

MARIA, Bulacan -- Combined units of the Philippine Drug Enforcement (PDEA)-Central Luzon with PDEA-Bulacan, PDEA-NCR and Santa Maria Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested two Chinese nationals and a Filipino cohort and seized P6,800,000 worth of suspected shabu in a drug sting at Block 78 Lot 3-4, St. Mary Village 5A Northville, Barangay Caysio of this town on July 7, 2020.

In his initial report to the PDEA Director General Wilkins M Villanueva, the PDEA-Central Luzon Director Christian O. Frivaldo disclosed that the operation yielded the confiscation of approximately one kilo of shabu, with an estimated value of P6.8 million.

Frivaldo identified the suspects as Zhicheng Lu, aka “Atse” and Feiyue Shi , Chinese nationals, and Elgine Monzaga y Raya, aka “Inday”, a Filipino national,

Confiscated from the suspects were pieces of non-drug evidence, such as one unit cherry mobile, one Toyota Camry and car keys, one Bureau of Internal Revenue identification card and one Chinese passport.

Charges for violation of the provisions of the Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared for filing in court. (Glenn Guillermo/PDEA-3 PIO)
