ORGANIZERS of a cancelled golf tournament in March assured its beneficiaries of their commitment.
The Philippine Red Cross (PRC)-Fakawee Joint Golf Tournament was supposed to tee off March 26, 2020 but was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Baguio City and the rest of Northern Luzon was placed under the enhanced community quarantine to prevent further spread of the virus, with all sports event scheduled in the Summer Capital cancelled, including the golf for a cause slated at the Baguio Country Club.
Organizers assured funds collected will be given directly to the Philippine Red Cross for their various projects.
The PRC and Fakawee also extend their heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors in the joint golf tournament fund raising event.
