SUPPORTING the local community of weavers in the Ilocos Region, Cebu, Iloilo and Lamitan in Basilan, Cebu-based accessory designer Tina Campos Magistrado of Tina Campos Jewelry showcases her newest collection of Filipino-inspired accessories.

Designed with a three-ply layer and non-woven fabric to be water repellent as well as washable, the textile face masks are created using materials made of Binakol, Inabel and Itneg from Luzon, Hablon and Patadyong from the Visayas and Yakan from Mindanao. At a time of global anxiety due to the spread of the coronavirus, Tina Campos Jewelry has also hired artisans from families who have been greatly affected by the crisis. Being part of today’s new normal, the company has further launched eye glass straps made of pearls and crystals and fabric bag collections made of Filipino textile and shells—this is to help aid shell crafters in Cebu and fabric weavers from Argao to bounce back from effects the current situation is having on the economy.

For inquiries, you may check Tina Campos Jewelry on Facebook or Instagram. Soon to open outlets will be located at Plantation Bay Resort, Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan, Shangri-La Mactan and Mactan International Airport Bling Shop.
