Cebu club holds 'virtual party' to help people unwind

PARTYING allows people to take a break from a stressful week; to blow off some steam with some crazy fun, drinking and dancing. Currently due to the pandemic, mass gatherings are restricted and recreational activities are prohibited. But that doesn’t mean the nightlife has to.

Enter the idea: Virtual parties.

One of Cebu’s favorite nightlife go-tos, Trademark, lives on with its hashtag #AllWeNeedIsNow. Amid the enhanced community quarantine, it continues to give people a safe place to let loose and unwind. Trademark’s virtual parties give off that San Francisco nightlife vibe. The Trademark experience showcases Hip Hop, R&B, Pop and Dance Hall music formats, and incredible DJ performances. Its sumptuous and authentic California-style Mexican street food, and its specialty craft cocktails by way of #TrademarkToGo, can be enjoyed in the comfort of one’s home together with Cebooze, Hennessy and Brookies.

“The year 2020 has been put on hold due to Covid-19. However, people still need an outlet to have fun with friends and enjoy themselves,” said Edward Roberson, who manages and owns Trademark together with his wife Marivic.

The very first virtual party Trademark hosted was held last June 6 featuring DJ Metro of the Chicago Bulls who DJ’d at Trademark before everything was put on hold. The second one was featuring Goldie Awards winner Miles Medina, with a special guest appearance from the talented Kiana V. Both events have had close to 11,500 views on Facebook.

Trademark makes virtual partying more convenient as its party-goers can choose an online platform to party on as it hosts parties on Twitch, Facebook Live and VIP Zoom party.

The club promises to continue to spread good vibes with music, tacos and cocktails until it is safe for everyone to party in real life.
