OPERATIVES of the Drug Enforcement Team (DET) of the local police seized some P360,000 worth of illegal drugs when they arrested a newly identified drug personality in Zamboanga City, an official announced Sunday, July 12, 2020.
Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspect as Hawada Isnain, 35, a laundrywoman and a resident of Arena Blanco village, this city.
Galvez said the suspect was arrested by the DET of the Police Station 11 in a buy-bust operation around 4:47 p.m. Saturday at Kilometer Seven in Mampang village, this city.
Galvez said seized from the suspect were some 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P360,000, a wallet and P1,000 marked money consisting of two P500 bills.
She said the suspect is detained at the headquarters of the Police Station 11 while proper charges are set to be filed against her. (SunStar Zamboanga)
