POLICE operatives have arrested in a law enforcement operation one of the most wanted person in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Monday.
The Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Police Office identified the arrested suspects as Juniper Dela Cerna Catalan, 46.
The police said that Catalan was arrested by the Task Group Spear in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 8:35 a.m., Sunday, in Poblacion village, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur.
The police said that Catalan has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder and is listed as the number five most wanted persons in the municipality of Aurora.
The suspect was placed under the temporary custody of the Aurora Municipal Police Station. (SunStar Zamboanga)
