AN EMPLOYEE of one of the contractors of the San Fernando Light and Power Company (Sfelapco) was found to be infected by coronavirus.
In a statement issued July 13, the power utility said the employee was based in a separate building from their main office in Barangay Lourdes.
The power utility said that all employees and personnel in the said building will undergo rapid testing and confirmatory tests if needed.
The power utility assured that the patient have already been isolated and that all buildings in the main office compound will undergo disinfection.
Services of the main office will still continue but the service provider said that consumers and clients may make payments through sub offices or accredited banks.
The power service provider assured that they have already coordinated with the City Government of San Fernando to ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
