THE Philippine National Police (PNP) and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Eastern Visayas have simultaneously launched the "Disiplina Muna" advocacy campaign in the region.

"Kailangan po nating magsama-sama. While emphasizing the value of discipline within the police organization, the official also reminded the police officers to "exude discipline and grace within their ranks."

"With this campaign, I firmly believe that discipline is the key to success and a shared responsibility to attain a peaceful Eastern Visayas," added Brigadier General Bernabe Balba, director of Police Regional Office (PRO)-Eastern Visayas.

During the advocacy launching on July 13, 2020, at the PRO headquarters, Rimando and Regional Community Affairs and Development Division chief Lieutenant Colonel Geraldo Benjamin Avengonza led the signing of the "Pledge of Commitment" to show their support toward the success of the campaign.
