GM Bright: 'Fans will love the new club'

FOLLOWING the recent pronouncement of Ceres-Negros FC that the team will soon be under new management, club general manager Patrick Ace Bright over the weekend has reassured that they will be announcing something very exciting soon.

“I'm sure the fans will love it,” he said on an online post. “Some things may change but, I'm certain that people are also gonna fall in love with the new club as much as they did with Ceres FC,” he added.

Ceres FC, under new management, will remain as part of the Philippines Football League and will continue its campaign in the AFC Cup when the tournaments resume.

Team practices based on the AITF protocols will restart on July 22.

The Philippine Football Federation, earlier, said that with the club’s change in management, it would still help ensure its continued participation in the AFC Cup 2020 - which is tentatively set to resume this September and October 2020. Also seeing action in this tournament is Kaya FC-Iloilo.
